We have reserved the facility for Thursday, September 28 through Sunday, October 1. You may come as early as Thursday morning and work on your own projects. Classes begin Friday night with a group project (kits provided free of charge). Hilary Hudson will once again be teaching a quilt, Kathy will have a bag and a garment (a button up loose shirt - pattern required). Rooms are dormitory style with each room of 4 having a private bath. Linens and towels are included. Meals are provided for Thursday evening, Friday morning and evening, Saturday morning, noon, and evening, and Sunday morning. (Sunday lunch is leftovers). We hope to do a "potato bar" Friday evening, so we will ask folks to bring their favorite topping to share. For those who would like, we are planning a side trip to Campobello Island Friday morning to attend the Eleanor Roosevelt tea and lecture. There is no charge for this, but we must be early to get free tickets. The tea is offered later in the day, also, but there is a $14 charge at that time. A trip to see Quoddy Lighthouse is a must! We are only 8 miles from Lubec. Base cost is $175 for Friday - Sunday. If you would like to guarantee a bottom bunk (some are wider, too), please add $30. Plan to come Thursday? Add $50 for room and food. A deposit of $50 is due August 20. While we have plenty of beds, we feel that 24 is the max we can comfortably take in the sewing room.
