Sewing by the Sea is located in Trenton, Maine.
To arrive by land, travel from interstate 95 south by Route 1A to Ellsworth. Continue south through Ellsworth on Route 3 (the Bar Harbor Road) towards Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The store is on the left side of Route 3 on a dirt driveway named "Periwinkle Lane." It is about 5 miles from the Ellsworth MCDonalds.
If arriving by air, fly into the Bar Harbor/Hancock County Airport and drive north 2 miles on Route 3 towards Ellsworth. Sewing by the Sea will be on the right.
If you arrive by sea, navigate through Frenchmen's Bay to the Jordan River. The River is shallow and has mussel beds, so a good navigational chart is a must. The store is located on the west side of the "river."

If you are coming by interstate 295, take exit 6B north onto Forest Avenue and travel through 11 lights (2.3 miles) and turn left onto Warren Avenue. We are just .7 miles down Warren on the left right after O’Connor GM/Volvo which is on your right.
If you are coming from the turnpike, take exit 48 and turn right at the light onto Riverside Drive. Drive through one more light and at the second light (.3 miles), turn right onto Warren Avenue (just after Home Depot). We are just .9 miles on your right. Look for our PFAFF sign in the front window.
If you arrive at the Jetport, hop on the interstate and go north to exit 48 and follow the above directions.
If you are coming from the waterfront on a cruise ship or private yacht, hire a taxi. I’m sure the driver can find 306 Warren Avenue.
Unlike Sewing by the Sea, we are not as easily accessible by sea or air. But, just in case you own your own helicopter, our large parking lot would work for a landing pad, but call ahead so I can chalk a bull’s eye on the hot top!
